During the Depression, a group of Asbury Park schoolteachers organized a Credit Union. This unique financial cooperative was designed to provide services at a lower cost with a higher return to its members. That tiny Credit Union grew into Mon-Oc Federal Credit Union, which is now the First Financial Federal Credit Union of today.
