Who we are…
We are NJ Gateway Federal Credit Union (NJGFCU) – a not-for-profit financial institution, organized in 1969, and wholly owned by our membership. Our asset size is currently at $30 million. More than 4000 member/owners actively use the services available to them through NJGFCU.

How we grew…
NJGFCU, originally chartered in 1969 as the Dayton NJ IBM Employees Federal Credit Union, now serves a wide variety of Employer Groups as well as individuals and families. Anyone who lives, works, attends school or worships in Middlesex County is eligible to join.

What we offer…
As a full-service financial institution, we offer savings and checking products as well as a vast array of lending options, ranging from personal or signature loans to 40-year mortgages. Our members also enjoy the many advantages available to them through Internet technology. All our online services are free to members.

How we do it …
NJ Gateway is non-profit. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee elected by our members, NJ Gateway turns profits into paybacks, with lower rates on loans, higher rates on savings, and new products and technology. As is the philosophy of the entire credit union movement, NJ Gateway is focused on better and better service, not higher and higher profits.

NJ Gateway FCU will remain at the forefront to always meet the financial needs of our members, but our long-standing commitment to the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" remains the same.

First Mortgages

Some of the options available:
Conventional loans for 40, 30, 20, 15 and 10 years
Adjustable rate loans with the first rate frozen for 1, 3, or 5 years
Jumbo loans (over $417,000) up to $1,000,000
Zero points or pay 1-3 points and "buy down" the rate on any fixed or adjustable loan
FREE Pre-approval before you meet with a realtor
FREE custom pre-approval letters for each home you wish to write a bid on
100% of the application fee is credited to out of pocket expenses at closing
Note: All loans above 80% loan-to-value require private mortgage insurance (PMI). This insurance premium may be dropped when your home's value and your mortgage loan's balance adjust to create 20% equity.
