Shore Community Bank officially opened for business in February 1997. The Bank was organized by local, successful businesspersons with the goal of providing a professional and highly responsive community bank to service small and medium sized businesses and individuals in the Ocean County area.
The Bank's primary market has experienced a consolidation within the banking area. Shore Community Bank sees an opportunity to gain new customers as consumers and local businesses look to be "more than just a number" to the larger banks.
